Slim Round LED Flush Ceiling Light with Acrylic Diffuser

A slim disc that sits tight against the ceiling, with a narrow metal rim wrapped around a flat acrylic diffuser. The LED is built into the fitting and glows through the acrylic, so the light is soft and spread rather than a single bright point, with a faint halo thrown back onto the surrounding plaster. It comes in three diameters — 30 cm (11.8"), 40 cm (15.7") and 50 cm (19.7") — and in Black or White. Rated IP20 for indoor use.

Key Features

• Almost no drop: The body is only a few centimetres deep, so it clears low ceilings, loft conversions and landings where anything hanging would be in the way.
• Even, diffused light: The whole acrylic face lights up and pushes light downward across the room, with a soft wash escaping around the rim onto the ceiling.
• Built-in LED: The light source is fixed into the panel rather than screwed into a lampholder, which is what keeps the fitting this shallow.
• Hardwired to the ceiling: It fixes to a mounting plate at the ceiling point and wires in directly — there is no flex or plug.

Best over a bed or in the middle of a sitting room of around 10 to 15 square metres, where you want general light without a pendant hanging in the sightline. The smaller diameters also suit a hallway or landing.
