The gaps between the slats let light out sideways in stripes while the open base throws a pool of light straight down onto the table below, so it works as both a task light and a soft glow. The shade measures 43 cm (16.9") across and 28 cm (11") deep, with 120 cm (47.2") of cable to set the height. It takes one E27 bulb, which is not supplied.
