Patinated Metal Cone Ceiling Pendant, Vintage Rustic

A single cone pendant in metal, finished with a weathered patina so it looks like a salvaged workshop shade. The open cone throws its light straight down in a defined pool, with the bulb just visible below the rim. The brass-toned lampholder and twisted fabric flex are left on show as part of the design. It takes one E14 bulb, which is not supplied, so you can choose the brightness and warmth yourself.

• Directed downward light: The cone is open at the bottom and unglazed inside, so nearly all the light falls below the shade. Good over a worktop or a small table where you want the surface lit rather than the whole room.
• Patinated metal shade: Metal with a mottled, aged surface in silver, blue or green. Each finish reads slightly differently: the silver looks like bare galvanised steel, the blue and green like oxidised copper.
• Height you set yourself: The fitting is wired rather than plugged in, hung from a ceiling rose on a twisted fabric cable, and the drop is adjustable so you can set it low over an island or higher in a walkway.
• One E14 bulb: The small screw-cap holder takes LED, filament or fluorescent E14 bulbs. No bulb comes in the box, so pick a warm filament style if you want the glass to show under the rim.
• Two shade widths: Available at 21 cm (8.3") or 35 cm (13.8") across the mouth of the cone, both 15 cm (5.9") tall - the smaller for a tight run, the larger where you want a broader pool of light.
• Indoor rating: Rated IP20 and intended for dry indoor rooms. It is not dimmable as supplied.
