Opal Glass Globe Sputnik Ceiling Chandelier

A spread of slim metal arms crossing at a central stem, each one tipped with an opal glass globe set at a different height. The glass is fully closed and milky, so the light comes out soft and even in all directions rather than in a hard downward pool - useful over a table where you do not want glare in anyone's eyes. Choose six globes or eight, in gold or black. It takes G9 bulbs, and they come with it.

• Light in every direction: Opal glass spheres diffuse the light all round, filling a room of roughly 10-15 square metres without a bright spot to squint at.
• Staggered arms: The arms sit at different levels and angles, so the globes read as a loose cluster rather than a ring. It gives the fitting depth from across the room.
