Minimalist Disc LED Outdoor Wall Light

A plain metal disc or square that sits close to the wall and throws its light out sideways, so you see a soft halo rather than the LED itself. The face stays dark and matt, which keeps it quiet by day and glare-free after dark. The LED is fixed behind the edge diffuser and is not a replaceable bulb. Rated IP65 and wired into a fixed supply, so it is built for a wall by a door, a path or a set of steps.

Key Features

• Light that washes the wall: The output escapes around the rim, glazing the brickwork or render with a ring of light instead of a beam in the eye. Good for marking a route without lighting up a whole garden.
• Round or square, three sizes each: Pick the shape and size that suits the wall: the square comes in 15 cm (5.9"), 18 cm (7.1") and 23 cm (9.1") across, with matching round versions. Small ones work as step markers, large ones as a feature beside a door.
• IP65 rated: The source states IP65 for this fitting, which is why it is shown on exposed garden and entrance walls.
• Built-in LED: The light source is a fixed SMD LED board behind the diffuser, supplied with the fitting. There is no lampholder and no bulb to buy.
• Warm or natural white, with or without a sensor: Choose warm white (2700-3500K) or natural white (3500-5500K), and either plain or with a built-in motion sensor. This fitting does not dim.
• Flat, low-profile body: A shallow metal back plate keeps the disc tight to the wall, so it does not catch shoulders in a narrow porch or passage.

Best beside a front door, along a garden path or above external steps, where the halo of light picks out the wall and the ground in front of it. Mount at around eye height or lower so the glow does the work.
