Industrial Metal Sputnik Flush Ceiling Light

Bare bulbs on slim bent metal arms, spreading out from a single round ceiling plate. The arms sit close to the ceiling, so the fitting reads as a graphic pattern overhead rather than a hanging piece, and the exposed E27 lamps throw light in every direction across the ceiling and down into the room. It comes in black, in four arrangements: 4A, 6A, 6B and 8 heads. Bulbs are supplied, in warm or cold light depending on the option you choose.

• Light from several points at once: Because the lamps sit at the end of separate arms rather than in one cluster, the light is spread over a wider area and shadows are softer than a single central fitting gives.
• Takes standard E27 bulbs: Ordinary screw-fit E27 lamps, so you can change the look later by swapping in clear globes, opal spheres or vintage-style filament bulbs. A set is included with the light.
• No drop to clear: The metal plate fixes straight to the ceiling and the arms run flat beneath it, which suits rooms with a lower ceiling where a pendant would sit too far down.
• Four layouts to choose from: The 4-head version is 60 cm (23.6") across, the two 6-head versions 80 cm (31.5"), and the 8-head version is a taller 120 cm (47.2") by 67 cm (26.4") rectangle - pick the spread that matches the room.
• Metal throughout, in black: Frame, arms and lampholders are all metal in a matt black finish, so the fitting stays a clean outline against a white ceiling.
