Glass Globe and Metal Ring Ceiling Pendant

A single glass globe held inside a slim metal ring, hung on a slender stem and black cable. The bulb sits in full view at the centre of the sphere, so the light spreads in every direction with a soft glow through the glass rather than a hard downward beam. Choose clear glass for the brightest, crispest light, or grey or cognac glass to warm and mute it. One pendant suits a bedside or a corner; two or three in a row work over a table or an island.

• Light in all directions: The globe is open glass with the bulb visible inside, so light washes upwards and outwards as well as down. It lifts a whole corner rather than pooling on one surface.
• Takes a standard E27 bulb: An E27 screw-fit lamp goes in the centre of the globe, and an LED bulb is supplied. Because the bulb is on show, a decorative globe or filament lamp is worth choosing.
• Dimmable, with three light colours: The fitting is dimmable, and the supplied bulb switches between three light colours at the switch, so the same pendant can read bright for cooking or low for evenings.
