Cylindrical Glass Up and Down Wall Light, 2 Light

Two glass shades sit back to back on a round wall plate, one throwing light up the wall and one washing it down. The glass is coloured through, so the shades read as soft columns of colour when the lamps are off and glow evenly once they are lit. It measures 35 cm (13.8") tall by 14 cm (5.5") wide, with shades of 12 cm (4.7") diameter, which keeps it slim enough for a narrow stretch of wall beside a bed or a door. Choose from Blue, Grey or White glass.

Key Features

• Light up and down: The upper shade is open at the top and the lower one open at the bottom, so you get two pools of light on the wall rather than one flat spread. It softens a plain wall and gives useful light to read by at close range.
• Coloured glass shades: Blue, Grey or White glass over a metal fixture. The tinted versions cut the glare from the bulb and give a warmer, more muted light than clear glass would.
• Takes two E12 bulbs: Two small screw E12 lamps, supplied separately, so you can pick the brightness and warmth yourself. Small round golf-ball style bulbs suit the shape of the shades best.
